Malik’s Gifts partnered with the Jacksonville Humane Society to support the rescue and care of animals displaced by Hurricane Michael. As part of this effort, approximately 100 cats were from the Jacksonville area. Rescued cats were flown to Delaware, making room so that more cats and dogs who were lost or abandoned in the hurricane could be served by the Jacksonville Humane Society.
Malik’s Gifts has been partnering with the Jacksonville Humane Society since 2016, when the foundation supported the adoption of 181 animals as part of the organizations adopt-a-thon.
